Screenoma is operated by Darshan Hegde, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect and how we use it. Questions: drhegdedarshan@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, organisation name and, if you use email sign-up, a salted password hash (never the password itself).
• Google or Microsoft sign-in: if you choose it, we receive your basic profile (name, email address and account identifier). We do not get access to your mailbox, files or contacts.
• Your workspace data: the products and search terms you add, the articles we find, AI assessments, your review decisions, audit log entries and reports.
• Payments: handled by Razorpay. We receive payment and subscription status, not your full card or bank details.
• Technical data: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and basic request data (such as IP address) used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

Only to run the service: sign you in, search literature sources for your products, produce AI assessments and reports, bill your plan, keep the service secure and reply to you.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and database, and runs the AI assessments (Cloudflare Workers AI).
• Razorpay processes payments.
• Google / Microsoft if you sign in with them.
• Searches are sent to public literature sources (PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, Crossref) and, only if you connect your own licence, to that provider. Searches contain your product/search terms, not your personal details.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the providers above as needed to run the service, or where the law requires.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your subscription is active. If your plan is cancelled or lapses, sign-in is paused and your workspace data is kept so you can renew; you can ask us to delete it at any time. Sign-ups that never complete payment are deleted automatically after 48 hours. You can also ask us to export or delete your account and data at any time by emailing drhegdedarshan@gmail.com.
