When Screenoma is not a fit
AI does not replace your experts
AI suggests; qualified people decide. Assist mode (human sign-off) is the default and what we recommend. Full auto is optional and only applies confident, unambiguous decisions; your company stays responsible for case validity and reporting.
Paid databases need your licence
Embase, Scopus, Web of Science and similar are not included. If you have a licence with API access, we connect it with you; without one we search PubMed, Europe PMC (incl. preprints), OpenAlex and Crossref only.
Not a safety database
We find, screen and triage literature. Case processing, MedDRA coding and E2B submission stay in your safety database.

Screenoma is decision-support software for literature screening and AI-assisted ICSR triage. Automated triage and AI assessment can miss or misclassify articles; your company and its qualified users remain responsible for reviewing the literature and for all case reporting decisions. AI assessments come from a general-purpose open model and can be wrong. Every AI output and who or what made the final decision are logged. Your company remains responsible for case validity and reporting.
